Nawaz Sharif can be arrested upon his return: AGP

He said this while talking to a private TV channel and later the media men here Friday. He was of the view president general Pervez Musharraf could restore the imprisonment terms with respect to Nawaz Sharif under the advice of the prime minister. No restriction has been laid down in SC verdict that Nawaz Sharif can not be arrested on his return to country.

AG held it was mentioned in the SC decision that Sharif brothers return to country can not be blocked. Mian Nawaz Sharif did not abide by the deal under which he was enjoying concessions, therefore, the second party would also be not bound to adhere to deal, he told.

"President Musharraf had called me and I had briefed the president on the legal position in this regard", he informed.
